Alex Mankouski

Hi, I’m Alex Mankouski — an ice climber and photographer based in Salt Lake City, Utah. I’m currently a member of the USA Ice Climbing Team, and I started this business to help support the travel, training, and gear costs that come with competing in a small, highly specialized sport where sponsorship opportunities are limited.

Climbing has been a huge part of my life for years, and I’ve seen firsthand how important the used gear market is for making the sport more accessible — but also how risky it can be when there’s a lack of transparency and trust. My goal is to build a business that not only helps fund my journey as an athlete, but also makes buying and selling used climbing gear safer, more honest, and more reliable for the community.

At the end of the day, this project is about supporting my passion, giving back to the climbing world that shaped me, and helping other climbers get the gear they need with more confidence. If I can chase my goals while making the community a little stronger and safer along the way, that’s a win in my book.
